1. Introduction
Welcome to ATBooking ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our mobile application and website and the purchase of paid services from us. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. About Our Service
ATBooking is an online platform that lets owners advertise properties and items for rent and lets renters search for and contact them. We provide the platform only. We are not the owner, agent, or a party to any rental agreement made between users, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or quality of any listing.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in Sri Lanka.
- You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or information.
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to harass or defraud other users.
- Upload content that you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to disrupt, copy, or reverse-engineer the app or its systems.
5. Listings and User Content
Owners are solely responsible for the content of their listings, including descriptions, prices, photos, and location. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on our platform for the purpose of operating our service. We may remove any listing that violates these terms or the law.
6. Paid Services and Pricing
- Certain services (such as featured listings, promotions, or subscriptions) are available for a fee shown in the app before you pay.
- All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect services you have already paid for.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order because of pricing errors, technical faults, or suspected fraud.
7. Payments
Online payments are processed securely by a third-party payment gateway. When you pay by card or another supported method, your payment details are handled by the payment gateway and the relevant banks. We do not store your full card details. By making a payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method and agree to the payment gateway's terms.
8. Delivery of Services
Paid digital services are activated on your account after successful payment, usually immediately and within 24 hours at most. No physical goods are shipped. If a service is not activated, please contact us so we can resolve it or refund you under our Return & Refund Policy.
9. Returns and Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, available on our website, which forms part of these terms.
10. Rental Agreements Between Users
Any rental agreement, deposit, or payment arranged between a renter and an owner is a private matter between them. We encourage users to verify details, inspect the property or item in person, and keep a written agreement. We are not responsible for disputes, losses, or damages arising from such agreements.
11. Privacy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
12. Intellectual Property
The ATBooking name, logo, app design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATBooking and its directors, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or from any transaction between users. The platform is provided "as is" and we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Changes and Termination
We may update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be shown on this page with its "last updated" date, and continued use of the platform means you accept the changes. You may stop using the platform and close your account at any time.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
